To kick start the usage of the Guild Score page found by pressing H, we will have a mini escort event

From February 17 0000hrs server time the page will be resetted and all values become 0(zero)



Anyone who reaches 88 normal escorts will get a Speed Up Without Trace flying skill. Only the team leader(ie, the person who spends the bounded Liang) of the team in escort qualifies for the point on the guild score page, the other teammates doesn't gets the point (don blame me that's what the system say)

Anyone who reach 5 escorts will receive a bun. Its cumulative so 20escorts = 4buns :) and so on. Prize to be given out after the winner is announced !!!

It was a close match but as of now Moshen have 44 escorts leading in the front with 20 escorts left for the day which brave person would like to take up the challenge!!!

Let's make this a monthly thing starting next month with horses as rewards for the top few. Thing with giving people a number and then letting them hit it brings about a lull after the event. We want this to be sustained with more participation from everybody. :P

Just my humble opinion:

1) The event seems to tilt in favor of alts and hardcore players, reason being there is a limit of bound liang we can use per day. Eg day 1 and 2 one may only manage to do only a few in total before hitting the cap.

2) From point 1, as the reward is substantial, richer players can afford the unbound 5L to win it as the tradeoff is worth it. newer players simply cannot afford to compete.

Proposal

1) As this is a guild event, maybe all players should be encouraged to contribute? If stronger members have no use for the items, perhaps they can donate items to be used as prizes?

2)Daily cap. To circumvent the above issues, imposing this rule may help. If a maximum of 10 is imposed (this can be brought forward to the next day, eg: 5th day max 50), the event will last 9 days. This will ensure that it will not be over so quickly and momentum can be built up leading to the last days, making it more exciting.

Players thus have more freedom to strategize their playing activities as many do not live in the same timezone and some may have a headstart once the event starts. The event then will not be a one horse race and one will not lag behind too badly if one is simply not free the day the events start. This can also help those that may have missed the notice if he/she is away for more than 2-3 days.

A raffle/lottery system can also be implemented. Those that are the first few to complete can be given extra tickets to win while those that duly completed the event will still have something to look forward to (although a lesser degree in winning).

To end this, I would like to reiterate that I am not insinuating that people are doing this, rather to highlight some loopholes in future and some ideas to make it more lively and colorful.

Nonetheless I hope everyone will continue doing their escorts!

(I am also not sure if there is a maximum limit of escorts you can do a day, bar the daily teal limit)

At last a clear winner has being born. This mini event's winner is Moshen who reaches the target 88 escorts first after 3 days of hard work and perseverance!!!

Thanks Zifeng for pointing out some ideas. My understanding of the situation is as follows (IMHO)

- The event does favors alts if the main character is using the bound Liangs on life service and martial practice especially when there is a double bounded coins event which used up 100L of the daily amount. If you unlock the 150L unbound training which last for 7 days and give x2 the daily bounded usage it will become 200L, which makes us left with 160L available to spend on. As a frequent kidnapper, personally I would have purchase a stack of knockout drugs @ 77L for a day usage and probably additional 30-50L for bad times which the drug misses .... Hence a main character would have very little amount of bounded Liang usage to do guild escort :( (blame snail)

- I doubt people will spend 5L unbound just to make sure they win the event. Personally I wouldn't do so

- Guild Escort is everyone's responsibility to help the guild to do. I consult other GL and they say they have people who created alts just for doing it and that's their active role in the guild and other people donate mats regularly to the guild as well. Giving prize for doing guild escorts is our way of saying thanks for helping the guild. Sadly to say I observe very little guild escorts being done when there is no such events. Daily cap of guild escorts is 150 times which brings 3.3Ding to the guild daily if we max the escorts. WHY we need the guild funds to be as much as possible??? That's because guild funds is used in bidding guild wars like the recent one where shinobi bidded 9.3Ding (equivalent to 3days max escorts the guild have to do). Currently we have 130D in the bank and we cannot afford to pay 10D every bid which only last for 13bids (approximately 52days) and we go bankrupt n thus lose guildbase to shinobi. That's is saying we only bid 10D how about we bid 15-20D each time??? Eventually is which guild got a lot of funds for bidding and whether the guild have people doing the escorts to earn the funds needed to fund such bidding. Everyone's contribution counts so I urge people to help do escorts like 5 times a day everyday and it only takes u 25L bounded and around 15-20 minutes of your time...

Lastly I want to thank everyone for their time in doing the escorts, I am sorry that I could not promise a prize other than buns for this event for your hard work. If you have any good ideas to improve the current events please feel free to head to our events section and give your two dollars worth of ideas hehe

1 escort around 11L , 1 especial escort around 120L, 1 gold escort about 240L. For me with alts we can do 150 escorts daily, with mains with 2 or 3 full teams, we can do 5 or more especials escorts and if we are lucky we can do gold escort. Need do this, escorts are very easy do with alts, but the importants are especial escort ang dold escort.
For win money for guild need do all of this, and have one territory complet for win taxes every day ( extra money for guild ), but for have one territory need 3 alliances for protect or attack bases.

10 especial escorts daily
5 gold escorts daily

We are more than 200 players in guild, if every player do 1 escorts daily we have 150 escorts every day, and especials and gold escorts with main, more money. Yes, are a lot of people in guild afk or off, online every day are 30-40 with this people need do 5 escorts daily every player for cap 150 escorts, and some alts can do more.

For me the gift is a extra for players that help a lot in guild, not for one event do a lot of escorts, and when dont are event don't do any escort. But not only for players that do escorts, the gift need to do for all players that help the guild for something.

Gotta +1 for Uho the man, who has been actively helping the guild raise funds.

And +2 for phyllis who has tirelessly been putting up events for us. Let's all continue to work together to strengthen the guild.

We shouldn't have to be rewarded for helping the guild it takes all to function properly, but yes the daily bound cap is to low if you buy any mats to craft you pretty much broke soon xD
